The 2008 WWII Alumni Reunion will be held Thursday/Friday 6-7 November at the Doubletree Hotel Austin. A sit-down dinner banquet is planned for Friday evening at the hotel. Plans are in work for the UT Center for American History’s Institute for American Military Studies again conducting video recorded personal histories interviews of our WWII Alumni who have traveled from afar.

Ivan Elmer will be sending all WWII Alumni a letter in the near future with more info and the August newsletter will provide details for Reunion and other associated Veterans activities including the Dedication Ceremony of the Veterans’ Memorial on the north end of the Stadium anticipated to be conducted Friday afternoon.
