We are hoping to have everyone join us at the Embassy Suites Hotel for the Friday evening social regardless of whether you are staying at the hotel or not!

Saturday, September 13

All Saturday reunion events will be held either at the Robert L. Patton ROTC building (RLP) or immediately next door at the William C. Powers Student Activity Center (WCP).

Longhorns vs Miners kickoff at 1515

Parking on Campus Saturday.

UT Campus will be on a normal Saturday parking schedule. The closest garage for the on-campus reunion activities is the San Jacinto Parking Garage, 2401 San Jacinto Blvd https://parking.utexas.edu/parking/garages/san-jacinto-garage-sjg.

Alumni Foundation Board Meeting.

From 0900 the UT NROTC Alumni Foundation Board will hold their quarterly meeting in RLP Room 5.402 (McRaven classroom), before the General Business Meeting. All are welcome to attend, space permitting.

General Business Meeting & Scholarship Awards.

At 1100 the “Main Event” will also be held in the

WCP SAC Auditorium. Come learn about the latest Unit activities, plans, and achievements. See the awarding of over $135,000 worth of scholarships and officer swords to UTNROTC Battalion members by your Midshipmans Foundation. This years’ relaxed schedule will provide ample opportunity to meet and visit with the Battalion members, staff, and other alumni.

BBQ Dinner & Football Game Watch Party

At the conclusion of the Scholarship & Awards Ceremony (approximately 1300), we will all move to the Glickman Center in the ROTC Building (RLP) to enjoy some Pok-e-Joe’s BBQ and partake in some libations (Beer/Wine/Tea will be available). Our Alumni Foundation Board invites all Battalion members to join us at the BBQ event, and we cover the cost of their meals. This year we are combining the cost of the Friday Social and the Saturday BBQ to a combined total of $50/ticket. This will help the foundation pay for the rising costs of executing the reunion and helps subsidize the free BBQ meals we offer to the battalion members.

Football Game (In-Person and Watch Party)

The Longhorns will kick-off in DKR Texas Memorial Stadium at 3:15pm. For those not attending the game at the stadium we host a game watching party on the big screen projector(s) at the Glickman Center. For the folks that go to the game in the stadium, feel free to return to the Glickman Center post-game, let the traffic die down and mingle a bit longer with the remaining alumni. If you are interested in buying tickets to the FB game, please mark that box on the registration form and include $60/ticket for your request. We expect the tickets to move fast so don’t delay in completing and submitting your registration form (either online or by mail)!

Sunday, 14 September

Breakfast. Embassy Suites includes breakfast. Be sure to meet and greet your fellow alums one more time before hitting the road!

You can include a donation for the Alumni Foundation in the same check as the one used to pay for events.

If you want to make a contribution to the Midshipmans Foundation, use the separate form, provided in the 2025 Reunion Newsletter for that purpose, and mail it to the different address shown on the form. You can also download that form here.
